In its centenary year, the iconic British maker of exception high performance cars like the Centenary Edition Vanquish, Aston Martin is now further closing the gap between the racing cars and road cars with the introduction of a special-edition V8 Vantage S in Continental Europe that impressively takes its inspiration from the automaker's multiple success stories on the race tracks. Described to be a sporty road model that has been engineered in the style of the luxury sports car maker’s iconic GT4 racers, this powerful machine has been named Vantage SP10, taking inspiration from its namesake class SP10 in the VLN series, in which GT4 race cars compete at the Nürburgring. Offered in a bespoke specification, the Vantage SP10 especially developed for the likes of all kinds of enthusiast drivers, is however considerably identical to the V8 Vantage S but comes with the first-time addition of a state-of-the-art 6-speed manual transmission (Sportshift II automated manual 7-speed transmission is optional).
The sportiness of the already popular V8 Vantage S which with its 4.7-liter V8 engine manages 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 305 km/h, is further enhanced by its stunning appearance, which took inspiration from the V12 Vantage, and the exceptional sound from the engine coming via specially-developed sports exhaust with active bypass valves.
Both the Coupé and the Roadster are available in Ceramic Grey Metallic, while the convertible top of the Roadster is Titan Grey.
Further, black is the dominant color in the machine’s sporty interior, which is rounded off by a roof liner in Black Alcantara, while the instrument panel is trimmed entirely with leather and embellished with silver stitching.
Further, the vehicle comes with extensive combinations of features for more luxury and practicality.
