Painstakingly engineered to have excellent dynamic capabilities to provide exceptional driving experience, here’s the all-new 2014 Lexus IS 350 F Sport which boasts completely redesigned bold exterior styling, state-of-the-art on-board technologies, and an Lexus LFA-inspired driver-focused cockpit. And with entertaining driving experience as major premise behind all aspects of performance, the machine is notably the first ever Lexus model to adopt G force Artificial Intelligence (G-AI) control in Sport mode. Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, where we saw the launch of the Bentley’s world’s fastest four-seat convertible, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and the 2014 Audi RS 7 Sportback, the Lexus IS 350 Sport comes equipped with the potent 3.5-liter V6 engine delivering more than 300 hp, and its every aspect has been engineered with a renewed focus on engaging performance, agile handling, accurate response to driver input and highly communicative feedback.
The car not just boasts an exclusively-new design including the Lexus spindle grille with L-shaped LED daytime running lights placed independently below the headlamps that makes it look fast even when it’s standing still, but also incorporates several Lexus-features and technical innovations, and showcases an interior design with all the refinement and quality expected of a Lexus, plus a focused driver’s environment, comfortable and spacious rear seats, and large convenient trunk.
Honed on the world’s most iconic race tracks, the IS 350 Sport which is scheduled to go on sale in mid-2013 features unique 18-inch wheels with a Y-spoke design inspired by the Lexus LFA, a wider, more rigid platform and sport-tuned suspensions which combines to deliver unprecedented steering feel.
On the inside, one will find a driver-focused cockpit, F Sport steering wheel, performance driving modes and power-adjustable bolstered sport seating, along with an all-new multimedia system with industry firsts that provides subscription-free real-time traffic and weather information, and seamlessly connects you to your favorite mobile apps.
