24K Gold CDs from Audio Fidelty to preserve rock & roll history

We have seen the use of gold in music in various forms such as gold musical instruments and audio equipment which have gold components. But going a step further, Audio Fidelity has introduced a limited edition series of 24K Gold CDs, which has preserved some of rock & roll’s greatest musical treasures, including albums like Carly Simon’s No Secrets and Bad Company’s Straight Shooter. The CDs will be individually numbered and will be available in limited quantities through various retail outlets and even over the internet.
The singular form of attraction for these CDs is the fact that they have been coated with 24K pure gold, setting them apart from anything made before. The use of this precious metal has ensured that the sound quality would even be finer than other storage disks, which would give its listeners a supreme experience of the rock and roll history preserved in them.
In Carly Simon’s album, the focus will be on hits like ‘You are so vain’, which was duet she sang with Rolling Stones front-man Sir Mick Jagger and ended up being on top of multiple charts. Other songs include ‘Right thing to do’, ‘Night Owl’, ‘Waited so long’ and ‘When you close your eyes’ with contributions from the legendary Sir Elton John.
On the other hand, Bad Company’s album will feature hits like ‘Feel like makin’ love’, ‘Good lovin’ gone bad’ and ‘Deal with the preacher’ which gave the band legendary status within an year of them coming through as one. Though the pricing for these CDs is yet not known but it will certainly be higher than what one would normally shell out.
Audio Fidelty has been in the business of creating iconic music records over the years. Created in 1975 by executive Marshall Blostein, this company specializes in the recreation and reissuing of music history’s greatest known processions, which include the work they have done for artists like Soupy Sales, Elvis Presley and Tim Allen.
