One Hyde Park, one of the most prestigious buildings is making news these days. The reason for the same is that an apartment in One Hyde Park is up for sale. The special fact about this sale is that the apartment is up for sale after being repossessed. The base price for the apartment has been kept $8.3 million. Though people residing in the building are hesitant to admit that anyone of them has been forced to sell off the apartment, sources have identified the seller as an Irish property investor. One Hyde Park is billed as the most expensive property in London. The same has been developed on a per square feet basis. The sale is being handled by Strutt and Parker and the agents are tight lipped about the whole deal. The most expensive flats in One Hyde Park reportedly were sold for $158 million. The one bedroom apartment that is up for sale was at a point owned by Ray Grehan. Ray is an Irish property entrepreneur. Though the ownership of the one bedroom flat is still disputed as some other sources in the property world claimed that the one bedroom flat was owned by Suleyman Kerimov. Kerimov according to Forbes has a net worth of $7.1 billion and was considered close to Vladimir Putin, the Russian President. One Hyde Park has 76 apartments and a majority of these are owned by corporate establishments. 12 of the 76 apartments are owned by individuals and this one bedroom flat happens to be one of these.
