Though the world seems to be centering on the use of communication technology in a way that will wow most with the advancing progress, but it seems some attention still gets paid to making devices better for everyday needs. Adriano Design proved that at the ISH 2013, where it won accolades for the Thermostack and CookinStack heating systems, which keeps homes and personal spaces warm, and can add a lot to the aesthetics of the place with its customizable modules. More environment friendly than before, the company manages to further their product range which has earlier featured ceramic products such as modular ceramic containers, and ceramic stoves which they earlier bought out in 2011.
The oldest culinary culture, even in the west, depended a lot on the use of wood as fuel and the delicacy that carries into the preparation. Adriano Designs’s CookinStack brings back the tradition, but with a more contemporary touch with its suave design, and considerable changes to make the system more eco-friendly according to today’s demands.
For making it possible, they have bought in the traditional stoves Castellamonte, and combined with the use of the traditional ‘putage stove’, which was common in many parts of the world. What this has benefitted for the user, is that the pollution is taken control of and the fumes of the stoves have been left for the outside. At the same time, most of the handy cooking and heating up of the interior space is taken off with ease.
‘Thermostack’ is the extension of the CookinStack system, albeit with a different with a different purpose. Thermostack if more of a heater than a cooking accessory, but depends on the stove design for serving its need of heating up spaces. The components of this heating system are modular and rather easy to assemble. There is also the advantage of getting these in different colors.
Like the other design from Ardiano, this one also is more eco-friendly and keeps pollution under check with lesser quantity of fumes with generated. To add to the credibility of the both this particular heating system, ThermoStack ended up winning the 2013 ISH Design Plus Award at the ISH Frankfurt water and energy trade fair held recently.
