Alec Baldwin acquired a massive property in October 2011in a deal estimated to have cost him around $11.7 million. The actor managed to land a generous discount of $800,000 on the original listed price of $12.5 after a round of very hard bargaining. Baldwin’s new property was once a collection of six separate apartments, all of which were later knocked down and combined to create a single massive condo. The actor sold off his Central Park West home in order to raise money to buy the new home and currently resides in the condo with his wife, yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas.

Location: Alec’s condo is situated inside the historic pre-war Devonshire House building in the upmarket Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City.

Accommodation: The two-level condo offers a total living space of 4200 square feet and has been equipped with four bedrooms, dining room, modern modular kitchen, study room, living room, five bathrooms and two terraces. The basement garage is shared with other apartment residents and Baldwin has purchased exclusive space to park two large cars simultaneously. The condo offers spectacular views of the New York City skyline.

Features: The interiors of the house have been designed by renowned interior designer Victoria Hagan and sport a trendy modernist décor. The flooring boasts of expensive hardwood material and pricey modern furnishings adorn the entire home. All the bathrooms feature marble sinks and one of them has been fitted with a Jacuzzi. There is also a modern home theater system. A powerful centralized air conditioning system makes for a comfortable stay and the kitchen has been fitted with expensive electronic appliances.

Neighborhood: Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried resides in a fourth floor apartment in Devonshire House and is Baldwin’s immediate neighbor.

Alec Baldwin spent four days in the first week of October 2012 vacationing in the beach resort of La Paz. The actor was not accompanied by anyone for the entire duration of his holiday. He made optimal use of his time off to enjoy leisurely sunbathing sessions and trying out water sports like snorkeling.
