According to medical specialists, her genes were reportedly more prone to the disease, hence the surgery assumed a rather importance status. But one can’t deny the fame that has come to her, post this procedure. However, one man took an inspiration from all of this, and created a lovely portrait of the actress; his name is Johan Andersson. Now this ultra-real topless portrait is set to go up for auction, the proceeds for which go to the Falling Whistles Charity which supports peace efforts in Congo. Specialists estimate that this painting will bring in the region of $22,000 at the upcoming auction.
The roots of inspiration for Johan is found within his family. His mother is known to have been struck with breast cancer when he was just 15 years old. Though she underwent surgery successfully, it jolted a stroke of creativity on Johan, which rekindled on seeing Angelina Jolie undergo almost similar circumstances. Hence, In honor of the actress, the Swedish artist decide to paint this masterpiece. In his own words he describes it as, “The recent news about Angelina stirred an anxiety within me leading me to paint this portrait,” he continues. “There is an underlying awkwardness in her demeanor in juxtaposition to the natural beauty of her face.”
