Aston Martin DBS Volante gets the bespoke B&O sound system
The latest announcement by the renowned house of Bang & Olufsen is the availability of a bespoke sound system for the Aston Martin DBS Volante. The Bond car was shown at the Geneva Auto Salon on March 3, 2009 and it offers the thrill of open-air driving. The Bang & Olufsen sound system for the DBS Volante is the second system developed by the company exclusively for Aston Martin and is a revision of the BeoSound DBS system. Bang & Olufsen has paid attention to every detail in order to complement the stunning sports car interiors. The aluminum loudspeaker grilles integrate flawlessly with the fluid lines and curves of the cabin. As soon as the system is turned on, the twin tweeters with Bang & Olufsen’s proprietary Acoustic Lens Technology come out silently from the dashboard.
The new audio system features 13 individual speakers that incorporate unique Digital Signal Processing. The system is able to deliver subtle and striking musical dynamics from every source. The best part is that the BeoSound DBS system has been specifically revised to adjust its sound settings when the roof is up or retracted. With the Bang & Olufsen sound system in the DBS Volante, the users will be able to enjoy the best in open-air driving and listening experience.
Customer deliveries for the DBS Volante with Bang & Olufsen are expected to start during Q3 of 2009.
