Ateliers deMonaco first ladies watches is inspired by the Princess of Monaco

The company is now celebrating its 5th anniversary of its manufacturing unit in Geneva. To celebrate the occasion, the company has revealed details of three unique timepieces. The specialty this time is the women collection launched by the company for the first time.
Few years ago, Princess Charlene Wittstock’s visited DeMonaco Workshops at the inauguration and asked lightheartedly for their women collection. That is when they got an inspiration of launching a ladies watch collection. The watch has been named as DeMonaco La Sirène and is a perfect piece for a woman who relishes luxury.
The dial is inspired by the design of South Africa’s national flower King Protea as South Africa happens to be the birth place of Charlene. Moreover, this flower symbolizes to survive in the adverse conditions and thus, is a representation of the resistance-proof quality of this watch.
If it’s a ladies watch how can a company do away with the precious stones. And thus, the watch has been festooned with a blue topaz and 18ct white gold. The stone has an elegant touch of blue color that matches almost every dress a woman wears. The watch comes in a spectacular gold case 39-carat and is made of silicon. The bottom of the watch has been hand-engraved with the legendry name DeMonaco. The price of the timepiece depends on the stone size and starts from $11,5688.
Other two watches are Alpina’s Startimer Pilot made in 18ct rose gold and features a white ‘Grand Feu’ enamel dial that is limited in numbers to 188 pieces.
