Brand ambassador, huge fan of
The Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Michael Schumacher was designed in direct collaboration with the iconic F1 racer who interestingly immersed himself fully in the watchmaking, often wondering at the innovative and high-end solutions developed by engineers at Audemars Piguet watchmaking workshop.
Engineered by the Swiss watchmaker to the exacting standards of this successful Formula 1 racer, the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Michael Schumacher boasts a 44 mm case which is available in 500 pieces made from 18 carat pink gold; 1,000 pieces made from titanium, and 100 pieces made from platinum 950.
Further, on the dial are seven stars in blue and red which represent Michael Schumacher’s 7 world championship title wins.
The watches will be made available for sale by next year, at a price of $42,500 for ref. 26568IM watch, $110,000 for ref. 26568PM, and $75,000 for ref. 26568OM.
However, we have also earlier seen some of the other limited edition examples of the Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak watches, including the Audemars Piguet's platinum anniversary special Royal Oak watch, the limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watches, besides the sale of Audemars Piguet "Royal Oak" worn by Alain Delon for a record price of $89,848.
