    One of Scuderia Ferrari's first three race cars from Mille Miglia goes on sale

    At the upcoming Bonhams’ Monaco Motor Cars Auction scheduled to be held on 11 May, vintage car enthusiasts will get to grab some of the finest vintage masterpieces, including the rare 1930 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport Spyder, one of Scuderia Ferrari’s first three cars from 1930 Mille Miglia race. Scuderia Ferrari is the racing team of Ferrari automobile marque, founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929, initially to race cars produced by Alfa Romeo. This particular car was driven by the political activist and amateur racing driver Luigi Scarfiotti, as part of the Scuderia Ferrari’s first competed race, the 1930 Mille Miglia. However, a team of three Alfa Romeos entered the race, driven by Ferrari partners Alfredo Caniato, Mario Tadini and Luigi Scarfiotti, who also used the car on the road, before selling it back to Alfa Romeo.
