Avril’s presence in Whibley’s life made him stay off drugs and the couple felt like happy ever after until a mutual announcement made in September 2009 revealed the end of their tormenting relationship in public space. Avril and Deryck finalized their mutually acceptable divorce proceedings and were officially divorced in November 2010.
