Baselworld 2011: Grönefeld intros the One Hertz Dune in rose gold
Exclusive timepiece maker Grönefeld unveiled the One Hertz 1912 watch last year, and now, the firm has come up with the One Hertz Dune, a gorgeous version of the One Hertz in rose gold with a dark brown dial. Interestingly, the Grönefeld One Hertz is the only wristwatch featuring an independent driven deadbeat seconds. The watch features an in-house movement developed by Tim and Bart, which indicates hours and minutes on a sub-dial at 2 o’clock, a large sub-dial for the deadbeat seconds and a setting-winding indicator at 3 o’clock.
You can select between winding and setting by simply pushing the crown, so you don’t need to pull or unscrew the crown anymore. The Grönefeld One Hertz is available in two limited versions. While the One Hertz 1912 in stainless steel is limited to 12 pieces, the new One Hertz Dune is limited to 20 pieces.
