Nandini Rathi / March 22, 2012

The year 2012 has so far been a vibrant and rather active year, with the introduction of many new creations in the world of automation, like the Phantom II Rolls Royce, Lamborghini Aventador special editions. For those who like to fly about between their destination, Bell Helicopters has introduced its latest creation, the ‘525 Relentless’ model. The same company whose creations are in the private collection of billionaires like Anil Ambani and award winning actor, Harrison Ford, now introduces a flagship creation which shall cater to those who travel with their entourage. With a capacity to move in 16 passengers at a time, at a comparatively lower operational cost, this aircraft could appeal a lot of luxury tour operators as well.

When the Heli Expo took place this February, several operators were present on the scene to highlight their latest innovations, including the OEM suppliers who had bought several new products in their gamut of additions. Amongst them, the most apparent was Bell Helicopters whose 525 Relentless aircraft grabbed considerable eye balls, for its advanced aerodynamic design and control systems. These would mean the fly-by-wire flight controls, all new powerful GE turbine engines, and a new tail boom which adds to a hover functionality of the helicopter.

The other feature which seems to be impressive is the capacity to bear heavy load, and fly within all kinds of weather conditions over long distances, but at economical costs. This opens up a whole variety of consumers, would look to invest into this machine, including VIP’s who would add this to their personal set of high-end toys, rescue missions and government agencies who need spacious aircrafts such as these. Even oil rigs, where heavy equipment needs transportation over long distances could make use, but for us, a jazzed version by the rich guys are what we are vouching for.
