BMW 135i

The entire BMW 1 Series offers buyers the perfect balance between a luxury coupe and a sports car and includes the brand’s least expensive models. The 2012 BMW 135i is a performance-oriented model in the 1 Series that is offered in both Coupé and Convertible body styles with luxury and performance packages being offered as optional. In terms of size, the 135i falls neatly in between the 3 Series and the Mini Cooper and is offered with a rear wheel drive powertrain.

The entire 1 Series has been given high quality material in the cabin, with the 2012 135i featuring steering wheel accents, various control knobs and inner door handles finished in a "Galvanized Pearl Gloss" finish. Easy to use, standard BMW controls sit pretty on the dash with the leather seating in the Convertible being given an optional sun-reflective coating to prevent overheating in the sunlight. Manually adjustable sport seats are also offered on the Sport-specific M package which also comes with a dark-colored headliner, Shadowline trim and an M Sport steering wheel.

Even with the cramped rear bench, the four seater is pretty comfortable for joyrides in the country. Optional gadgetry includes upgraded Harman Kardon stereo, BMW’s bespoke iDrive electronics interface that fronts the navigation system, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. With all seats in place, the convertible 135i has a cargo capacity of 8.0 cu.ft. with 86.0 cu.ft of boot space. The coupe has 10.0 cu.ft. of cargo space with all seats in place with a 96.0 cu.ft. BMW Assist emergency telematics, Bluetooth, leather upholstery, driver memory settings on the 8-way power front seats and auto-dimming mirrors are offered in the Premium package.
