BMW revives its aviation history with luxury passenger cabins

Before BMW could rise to the current fame and reputation of the greatest automobile manufacturer, it once specialized in airplane engines during World War II. However, the firm’s historic role in aviation is being revived as BMW designs luxurious passenger cabins of Phenom 100 and 300 aircrafts for Embraer. Blending modern and futuristic design, BMW Group DesignworksUSA has trimmed the interiors in leather and wood while keeping in view the strict safety regulations. Integrating luggage compartments into walls and under the seats, BMW has created an elegant fusion of the aviation and automotive industries.
