The BMW X6 M is a cross over, built by the German car maker BMW. The car was produced in the second quarter of 2008 – 2009. The X6 M is an SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) and it combines all the features of an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), including a large wheel base and tire, all weather driving ability, all wheel drive and high ground clearance, and with that of a coupe features like sloping roof lines, bold styling, etc. TheX6 M was showcased at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show for the first time before being introduced officially at the Montreal International Auto Show in 2008.
The interior of the BMW X6 M has frequent use of mono toned leather, carbon fiber cloth and aluminum parts wherever possible to keep the weight to the bare minimum. The steering wheel sits quite high in the dash board and the stick shift sits neatly close to the driver. The stick knob is made of aluminum and the ride posture is comfortable for the driver. The seat of the X6 M has been specially made to suit the driving position of the car. There are also a large number of steering wheel mounted electronics controls including the climate control, air conditioner, music player, etc.

Lines around the entire length of the car, a big chassis, front and rear built in bumper, attached fog lamps are some of the remarkable design features of the car. However, the owners are less likely to travel off road with this vehicle. It is available in crystal white, mid night black, sun set red and metallic silver colors. Many parts of the body are made of aluminum to keep the weight in check.
