Brabus tuned Mercedes showcase at the Dubai International Motor Show
From what is being touted as the most important and large motor exhibition in the region, The Dubai International Motor show will have some of the prominent names in the world of auto design, feature their exclusive work at the event. With approximately 182,000 High Net worth Individuals in the country, this is indeed a bonanza of an event both for car enthusiasts and makers. Amongst the most prominent of them will be Brabus, who will showcase a special edition Mercedes Benz ML class (pictured above) for its enthusiastic buyers.
The limited edition introduction from Mercedes sees the special changes mainly on the car exteriors. The external chassis will see a special chrome and white detailing, in order to further accentuate the sporty feel of the coupe car. The front grill with the Mercedes logo, wheel covers, window frames, door skirts, rear license plate beam are some of the prominent areas where one sees the chrome lining, done with fine craftsmanship. Otherwise, the rest of the chassis retains the pearl white shade which is a signature of the series. On the inside, one sees the use of black and white colors in perfect tandem with each other, almost everywhere one can lay eyes on; the seats, door trims, dashboard, and even floor mats have used the colors interchangeably. The headrests on the seats for example, sees the Brabus branding in black stitching, very similar to the lining on the seat sides. The Floor mats which are wholly black will have a thin white border giving it a special appeal look. In boot space, one would also notice the Brabus 800 branding with the logo, commemorating the special edition of the car.
The other car which is also going to making the news a lot, is the Range Rover Evoque (pictured above), done up in its special avatar by Startech, a special division of Brabus. Unlike the Mercedes, the Evoque will see some significant changes in its design. Like the Mercedes, it will be have the playful combination of black and white colors, but the chassis components and even the engine will see some changes. The most prominent evidence of the change was the special 21-inch Monostar R alloy wheels, whose cover is in white but the rest in black, resulting in a prominent highlighting of the wheels. We also hear that customers will have 20 and 22-inch options to choose from. Other than that, the bumper inlays on the front and back, along with the upper half of the vehicle have the black shade, and the rest of the chassis being white. The exhausts are supposedly sportier in its sound, and the new roof sun spoiler is on the new additions list as well. Opening the doors, the steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and shifter come as new additions, along with the Alcantara and leather dressing on the seats with carbon fiber trimming. Under the bonnet, there is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine with 240 HP of output to give the owners a special rush during driving the SUV.
All of this, and more shall be on display at the Dubai International Motor Show beginning 10th November 2011, and going on till 14th November 2011. Sources also tell us that these vehicles are stated for 2012 official release into the market, but their unveiling will be at this event.
