Ever since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced to tie the knot, the world has been going crazy about what might be the "wedding of the year." We have earlier told you about the $1 million engagement ring Brad Pitt gifted to Jolie, which the actor has designed himself and is also one of the world’s most expensive engagement rings. The latest wedding details to have come out includes the couple's plan to host a ultra-lavish party at their South of France Chateau Miraval estate. Allegedly there is still not even a wedding date, but one thing that this highest earning celebrity couple have sorted out is the all-important selection of wine brewed on their own private vineyard in Côtes de Provence, which they will serve their distinguished wedding guests. Whatever the wedding date be, Brad Pitt who is now pretty much a certified wine expert after doing a wine steward’s course, have opted for seven different tipples in an effort that guests shouldn’t be disappointed in his taste. And, among the Pitt’s hand-picked wedding wines which include classics and most expensive wines like Bordeaux, Champagne, and German wines, will be the Provençal rosé Pink Floyd.
Grown on the Brad Pitt’s and Jolie’s Chateau Miraval wineyard, Provençal rosé Pink Floyd is so named as English rock-band known for their progressive and psychedelic music ‘Pink Floyd’ recorded part of their iconic album The Wall at the Chateau Miraval, and reportedly became fond of the pink drop during the stay.
Notably, 2011 vintage of Pink Floyd has been described as a wonderfully complex rose with red berry, strawberry and red cherry fruit underpinned by crisp minerality and tight structure.
However, Brad’s cellar boasts some incredibly rare wines, which actually rivals those of some of the best connoisseurs in Europe.
Also, it’s been reported that Angelina has invited her ex-husband Johny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thrornton to the wedding, as the actress has remained close to both.
Interestingly, the Tinseltown pair earlier long insisted that they would not wed until the US legalizes same-sex marriage across all states, but then decide to break the pledge for their six children, who have been pestering the pair to become husband and wife.
To make this wedding a spectacular and a celebrated affair, Brad Pitt has reportedly been doing most of the wedding planning on his own as Angelina has left it pretty much up to him and the six kids are of-course very excited.
Also, this Hollywood's most powerful couple will be sparing no expense for their wedding day, as Angelina and Brad splashed out a reported $1.6 million on a pair of wedding bands designed by renowned jeweler Robert Procop, for whom Angelina earlier designed a jewelry collection.
Designer Procop will be producing the matching bands for Jolie-Pitt at the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat in the South of France. They are matching rose gold bands with a tablet-cut diamond in them and their vows to each other engraved in them. You can’t see it with the naked eye but they both know they’re there.”
