An authentic Breitling ‘wrist instrument’ which reflects a universe dictated to performance, sporting feats and surpassing personal limits, the Chronomat 44 has now got a special makeover in the form of Chronomat 44 Special Edition timepiece. Especially designed for the ‘cult’ community of Breitling enthusiast, this special edition watch limited to just 50 numbered pieces is actually the result of an exclusive partnership between the specialists of technical watches Breitling and Govberg Jewelers, an authorized dealer of Breitling timepieces since 1987, positioning the 90-year old Philadelphia jeweler as the oldest Breitling dealer in North America. Crafted in brushed stainless steel, this $9,590 robust watch impressively features a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback to display Breitling’s Manufacture Caliber 01 movements beating within.
Notably, this Chronomat 44 Special Edition’s exclusive sapphire case back affords wearers the ability to admire the high-performance Caliber 01 movement, which powers all the chronograph functions. The watch features a 44mm case and a Pilot bracelet in brushed stainless steel.
Further, the dial has been masterly constructed in black and charcoal, while the central second hand and chronograph subdial hands are accented in Breitling’s signature yellow.
Water resistant to 500 meters, the Chronomat 44 was originally built to ensure extreme sturdiness to make it an instrument for professionals.
Besides introducing this Chronomat 44 Special Edition timepiece, Swiss watchmaker Breitling also chosen the LA Galaxy star, an international sports celebrity and style icon David Beckham as the face of its Transocean Chronograph Unitime worldtimer watch (pictured above).
The new campaign however establishes a long-term partnership between the innovative and historic Swiss brand and one of the world's most celebrated icons.
Also, we have seen that the Hollywood superstar and the 'star-pilot' John Travolta who has been associated with Breitling for the consecutive 8th year also appeared in the new advertising campaign for the company's exclusive Navitimer.
