When we now look back at products like the Sony VPL VW 1000 ES and the SIM2 Crystal series projector, we find that they were high gadgetry with specialized functionality. Now, the technology world is looking in the direction integration of different functions, i.e. combining different tasking capability on to a common platform. This is what precisely the Bryte Werks Model one projector is going to be. Along with being a high-end projector device, it combines a number of functions associated with a hi-tech PC. That’s that’s called being Two-In-One (or may be more).

The CES 2012 which have covered in considerable detail earlier this year, has one more conclusion to draw; that the consumer electronics space is going to have a large number of new players and start-ups with innovative ideas stepping into the competitive ring, and making a mark just like the big guys earlier would. Same seems to be the road for the US-based tech start-up which brings in the Model One projector, which will cater to standards of professional projectors, as well as provide the functionality of domestic use, especially for those that can shell out the cash. Beginning with the 16:10 widescreen projection power, the resolution of the image put forward goes up to 1920x1200 pixels. This put the device on par with top 5% of professional devices, meant to do just this task alone. Other capabilities in this regard include the rather bright image projection at 6,000-11,000 Lumens, and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.

As a computing device, be assured of powerful processors like the Intel i3, and going up to i7 if you so desire. Along with that, there is the Blue-Ray disk player, 2 TB of on board storage space, wi-fi and Ethernet connectivity apart from USB, and also a customized version of the XBMC open source media organization software, which shall be the basis for control of this device. On the physical level, 8.9-inch touch screen at the back of the projector through which one can control virtually every function, and if too lazy to get up from the couch, the remote control is always there as an alternative. Plus if you plan to watch a lot of video at a stretch and your device becomes too warm, don’t be so worried this time. There is a patent Airheart airflow system, which keeps this aluminum bodied 17-cubic inch device under strict temperature control. Now that you are done vowing the product, and perhaps already planning to buy one for your private theater or AV Room, just be prepared to shell out between $2,449- 5,999 for each of these, depending on your specifications and detailing.
