Looks the Gulf auto lovers are having a gala time, with the Dubai International Motor Show where all the top-brass of car makers, are introducing special edition models. After the Brabus Mercedes & Range Rover, and the BMW UAE edition series, it’s the turn of Bugatti to launch a limited edition run for its Veyron Grandsport model. Sporting 3 color combos, these special Bugattis will be available as convertible versions of the supercar which became famous for topping the 400 km/ph speed barrier.

The first and most prominent color combo of the series is the yellow and black version (pictured above). The lower end of the car’s chassis, front grille, door side rims, seat accents and seatbelts are done up in black, whereas the other half of the car, including the steering wheel retains the bright yellow color. The price tag attached to this model is $2.16 million for each unit. The next in line is the blue and tangerine combo (pictured below). Just like the previous edition, the lower half of the vehicle uses the darker blue coloring, where as the upper half and upholstery has been drowned in a bright tangerine shade. The price tag for this model is $2.37 million for each unit.

The 3rd and last option is the green and aluminum shaded combo (pictured below). The coloring pattern on this is the same as the preceding models, with the difference being the use green and aluminum shades. The pricing for this model has been pegged at $2.37 million each.

The commonalities found in these limited edition run of Bugattis is the engine configuration, which is the 8.0 liter W16 quad turbocharged machine, capable of zooming from 0-100 km/ph in just under 2.5 seconds with the maximum speed being 431 km/ph. Other than this, they will sport the transparent retractable roof top, and the use of carbon fiber on the chassis, especially in the upper half of the exteriors. Also sources have revealed, that with the total production of 150 units, 45 of them have already managed to sell of end customers while 105 of them remain to be bought. Looking at pace and beauty, these won’t last too long either!
