B&W revamps the perfection with diamond for true audiophiles
It’s nearly impossible to revamp the perfection, but British speaker manufacturer B&W’s (Bowers & Wilkins) quest for perfection has led to a dramatic leap forward in terms of audio quality. B&W’s flagship 800 Series has just benefited from the incredible precision and clarity of diamond. B&W uses diamond’s superior strength in their 800 Series tweeter to produce less distortion and greater high frequency extension and resolution, unlike other high-end loudspeakers that uses either cloth or metal dome designs. Manufactured in the UK, the new 800 Series speakers are available in three finishes: Rosenut, Cherrywood and Piano Black and the prices range between $5,000 per pair to $24,000 per pair.
