Castello del Sol, a waterfront estate located on the La Gorce Island has been sold for $30 million. The property which is more of a luxury resort has all modern amenities and also includes as lagoon styled pool. With the sale being processed, this has now become the third most expensive family home in the region. Castello del Sol is unique in the sense that the property has been spread over two acres. Besides the lagoon styled pool, a swim up bar and a waterfall adds to the ambiance of the property. Other attractions in this property include a lighted tennis court, a single bedroom guest house, staff apartments and a gym. Furniture designing in the property has been done by Versace and makes the experience unique in itself. 17,000 square feet of living space in this property includes eight bedrooms. Double kitchen, theater and a rooftop lounge add to the unique feeling of Castello del Sol. It is interesting to mention here that Castello del Sol was first listed for sale in October 2012 with a base price of $37 million. However, the deal could not materialize at that point of time and Castello del Sol ended up selling for $30 million. The unique fact about this sale deed was that this was the third costliest sale deed in history of Miami.
