With the festival season well in place in many parts of the world, and the upcoming celebrations for the Christmas and New Year not too far away, everyone seems to be looking out for gifting options with their own style infused in them. For the ones that like drinking themselves to royalty and good times during the season, designer Dan Funderburgh has created a limited edition series of Chivas Regal, for their 12-year old blend.
The selection of Dan Funderbrough seems to have been a calculated one, after looking at his penchant for bold and masculine designs. Very simply put forward, Mr. James Slack, director of Chivas Regal says,
“Known for contemporary, baroque designs inspired by historical ornamentation, Dan was the perfect artist to reflect the distinctive style and rich heritage of Chivas Regal.”
When one actually sees what Dan has actually done to the tin, it all becomes perfectly believable. The gifting edition of the tin comes with an elegant grey base color, with the ornamented monogram of the Chivas Regal lion in gold, done with great precision and craftsmanship. The design stands out as an embossing, and it won’t be a surprise that this piece of artwork is actually gold embossed on this body. The shape as one can notice is the traditional vertical one, showing the intricate done artwork. Inside the tin, is the 12-year blended scotch from Chivas Regal, the branding of which can also been shown on the outer cover of the tin.
