Beckham supports the Non Governmental Organization “mothers2mothers”, which offers effective care, education and assistance for the pregnant women as well as the new mothers bearing HIV disease. Since its inception in 2001, the NGO has expanded its reach to more than 500 centers spread in seven countries, employing more than 1600 people including pregnant mothers, doctors and nurses, gathering funds and support for providing medical care and training to the infected mothers. 

The eminent footballer supports the charity Help for Heroes, an organization aimed at raising funds for the members of the armed forces, who get wounded while offering their services for the nation. The noble charity was founded in 2007, by Bryn Parry and his group of friends, to help the injured service workforce returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Help for Heroes raises funds by conducting different fund raising events and initiating direct projects, to assist the wounded defense personnel.

David supports the noble mission “Malaria No more”, which focuses on eradicating the disease completely from the planet by offering prevention aids and raising awareness in order to end the deaths due to malaria. Established by leading non-governmental institutions in 2006, the charity offers life-saving bed nets and other needed utilities to the families to reduce the disease infections and bring down malaria-related deaths. It works in conjunction with other eminent charity bodies like American Red Cross, UNICEF, Millennium Promise and United Nations Foundation, to raise funds for its projects. 

David Beckham supports the Comic Relief foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at generating funds for the needy people by organizing comedy events.  Founded in 1986, by comedy writer and actor Bob Zmuda, the charity offers help to the homeless people with special focus on disaster relief, and other needy people. The necessary funds are raised by the participation of the general public in the charity organized comedy events and projects. The foundation also works to educate and raise awareness in the common people for promoting social change.

David Beckham gifted Victoria her own winery in Napa. The pair has a joint passion for wines and hence David did not hesitate to pay a seven figure amount for the winery. David also gifted Posh a bottle with Victoria's name on the label. However there are no plans for the couple to get into wine business. The winery will only be for the family and friends.

Beckham owns a luxury home built on Palm Island, which is the first of three massive palm-tree-shaped groups of islands that will eventually adorn the Dubai coast. The luxury seven-bedroom home cost him $1.6 million. However, he is not alone. A slew of other English soccer players have also signed up for a new home at the island. The list includes names like Michael Owen, Wayne Bridge, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, Kieron Dyer and David James.

The Manchester United star owns a Georgian style mansion “Beckingham Palace” also known by the official name “Rowneybury House” in London which the soccer idol acquired in October 1999, after his wedding. The 1930 built lavish mansion became Beckham’s property for $3.9 million.

Beckham likes listening to music. His favorites as stated on his Facebook page include Jay-Z, Jonas Brothers, U2, Eminem, Justin Bieber and Bob Marley.

David’s pet British bulldog coco is one of his beloved pet as the cute dog was gifted to the footballer by his fashion designer wife Victoria. One of the four dogs owned by the footballer, coco has been pictured with its toe nails painted pink, providing a distinctive style to its appearance.
