Andrea Divirgilio / March 28, 2011

Though Baselworld 2011 is all about jewelry and watches, for those of you who don’t believe in wearing a watch to access time, the iPhone case by De Bethune sees the pocket watch in entirely different light for modern-day dandies. The luxury iPhone case by designers David Zanetta and Denis Flageollet integrates a hand-wound mechanical fob-watch fitted on the back of a smartphone. The iPhone case is crafted in chestnut-brown alligator leather with a silver-toned hand-guilloche dial with gold detailing, featuring flame-blued steel hands and a hand-wound movement with 6-day power reserve set into a 48mm antimagnetic watch case. This special edition pocketwatch, may be gem-set, adorned in precious stones, and personalized on request in the De Bethune workshops.
