Derek Jeter owns a custom built mansion in the Bahamas, which has an estimated value of $7.7 million. Built completely after one year of construction, the 31,000 square-foot, double-story mansion is the largest residence in the area, hence is often called as “St. Jetersburg” by the local residents. Jeter calls the waterfront Tampa Bay mansion as his permanent home and is anticipated to stay here during Spring Training.

The eminent baseball player founded the “Turn 2 Foundation” in 1996, for the sole aim of creating awareness in the teenagers to stay away from drug and alcohol addiction. Turn 2 Foundation runs various campaigns to educate youth about the ill effects of alcohol addiction, so that they can have a better future in life by avoiding such harmful things.
