Most expensive diamond-studded kitchen knife is a masterpiece

Designer Quintin Nel, who is well known for his jewelery art, has teamed-up with Hoffmann/Pieper, most remarkable blade smiths, to produce a masterpiece of handmade knives called “Nesmuk.” The designers and goldsmiths Hoffmann/Pieper from Hamburg developed in the classical Nesmuk form a handle from sterling silver with a stocking from eight diamonds with a carbon steel blade. The Nesmuk is claimed to be the sharpest and most expensive kitchen knife in the world, which is why it adorns a mighty price tag of 31,000 euros, i.e. approximately $39,600. The mentioned price tag also includes a ring together with the knife in a piano box. Not sure what the designers had in mind, but this might be a great gift for your spouse in case she is known for her culinary skills, and has a passion for collector items. Via: RichtigTeuer
