Born Dietrich Mateschitz has an estimated net worth of $9.3 billion. Dietrich Mateschitz took the beverage industry by storm in 1987, when he introduced to the world a refreshing new concept: Energy drinks. His creation Red Bull now sells more than a billion cans in US alone and sold a record 4.2 billion cans in 2011. The revenues of his Red Bull have increased manifolds to reach an impressive $5.175 billion in 2010. However the beginnings of this ubiquitous brand can be traced back to a little country, Austria, which has given the world and more appropriately United States “the governator”, Arnold Schawrznegger. Now it’s richest man, Dietrich Mateschitz is also one of the richest in world. He took 10 years to graduate from a university in Vienna, but took a lot lesser time to earn a fortune to the tune of $ 5billion dollars. He put to effect his entrepreneurial skills and business sense and thus got his company Red Bull to diversify by creating a separate entity Red Bull Media House, a subsidiary media company launched in Austria in 2007 that expanded with a Los Angeles outpost in January, 2010. This media house has produced TV programs, films, magazines, a website and offers a steady diet of Web videos.  Synonymous as the favorite energy drink of extreme sports athletes, Red Bull has furthered its legacy by buying various sports team like the Formula One team Jaguar Racing from the Ford Motor Company, which was eventually named Red Bull Racing. At the end of 2005, Mateschitz teamed up with former Austrian Formula One driver Gerhard Berger and bought the Italian-registered Minardi team from Paul Stodart.  He also owns a NASCAR Sprint Cup team called Team Red Bull, which fields two Toyota Camrys for drivers Brian Vickers and A.J. Allmendinger.  Mateschitz holds a pilot’s license and enjoys flying a Falcon 900 and a Piper Super Cub. He boasts a massive private collection of historic aircraft and owns two amazing museum called as Hanger & and Hanger 8.
