Dodge Ram SRT-10
Dodge Ram SRT-10 comes from the stables of the American Car company Dodge, a subsidiary of General Motors. The SRT 10 was built as a sport pick up truck. Controls are not that great, but the Ram handles quite well at high speeds. The Ram became so popular, that Dodge removed its own logo from the next models of the Ram and the Ram got its own identity. The Ram has developed into one of the largest individual brands in the last 10 years since it was formed in late 2002.
The Dodge Ram SRT 10 has an 8.3 L Viper V10 engine at the helm. The engine produces a massive 510 bhp @ 5,600 rpm and 525 lb ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. It features a top speed of 153 mph and goes 0– 60 mph in 4.9 seconds flat. Presence of an inter cooler results in better power output and the dual overhead shafts help to keep the low compression ratio intact. The outfitted engine produces almost 90% of its torque at 1500 – 5600 rpm. The transmission used for power transfer is a Tremec T56.
