La Regina d’Italia Yacht
World renowned fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana jointly owns the iconic La Regina d'Italia yacht since the year 2006, and uses it extensively as the venue for the their private parties and for traveling to exotic holiday destinations of the likes of Monaco. This 51 meters long yacht with a hull that sports a mixture of white and metallic gray paint, has been photographed several times cruising in the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
With beam measuring 9.5 meters, the boat possesses an aluminum superstructure along with a steel hull. The La Regina d'Italia is powered by a pair of Caterpillar 3516B DITA SCAC propeller engines that delivers a combined work rate of 4894HP. A maximum cruising speed of 17.5 knots can be easily attained and the boat can travel up to 4600 nautical miles on a full tank of fuel.
Custom built by Italian luxury yacht building firm Codecasa, the extremely roomy La Regina d'Italia is considered to be among the top luxury boats in the world, which possesses ample room to accommodate ten crew members along with 12 guests at a time.
Further, the interiors have been extensively customized by reputed decorators “Lazzarinipickering Architetti” in order to match the refined tastes of her owners. The deck area has been built using teak wood which also contains a Jacuzzi, swimming pool and a spa. In addition to all the usual frills, the yacht also sports a giant customized inflatable water slide along with gold bathroom taps studded with sapphires and rubies and gold veined marble floors. The gold plated doorknobs have been shaped like two outstretched hands and the four spacious guest cabins have been named after exotic animals.

The indulged in some leisurely shopping and lazing around in their boat, spending time afloat on the beautiful blue waters.
