For those living with snow around, especially during the winters in the mountainous regions, or if one is simply on a vacation in the mountains, there lies ample opportunities for snow sports, especially snowboarding. For the ones that can spare the cash, and like perfection in their sports’ equipment, Dunhill introduces its designer snowboard that balances perfection in design, and high order of materials used in construction to give riders an optimum experience while being on the snow. A look at the board and it oozes of the masculinity and perfection that Dunhill is otherwise known for.
The body of the snowboard is mainly created as a fiber glass frame, with its core in Poplar wood. This particular variety is known to be ideal for sports goods, due to its density, and durability in the long run. Even the perfect weight ratio ensures superior balancing on rough surfaces. The edges contain crafted steel and aluminum protectors that may be useful if the snow gets too dense, by assisting in further control and uncompromising on the comfort of the rider. The upper-side of the board is a black surface with ‘Alfred Dunhill’ logo in contrasting white color. The down-side or the lower side of the board contains the design of the map used by famous British explorer of the Antarctic region, Ernest Shakleton who used the map during his 1920’s expedition of the region. There are even the notes which he had mentioned on his version of the map.
The snowboard shall be packaged in a nylon padded bag, with space for clothing and other kit material. The cost of each of these is $2,600. Though this one has a certain signature style, there is the Audi carbon ski to look at, for a different option.
