Captivating, athletic, and passionate, here are the Mercedes-Benz’s revised and exclusively-new 2014 E-class Coupé and 4-seater Cabriolet models that impressively incorporates the most intelligent and efficient technology ever, coupled with a range of luxurious and comfortable equipment and appointed items. Before being made available to order from Mercedes-Benz dealer from 7th March, the dynamic duo configured uncompromisingly to deliver an awe-inspiring driving experience with a truly exclusive flair, is scheduled to make its debut at this year’s Detroit auto Show, where Bentley’s world’s fastest 4-seat convertible ‘2014 Continental GT Speed Convertible’ will also be unveiled to the public. And, like the Saloon and Estate models, the sleek and sporty Coupé and Cabriolet models in the E-Class features a range of new assistance systems that meld comfort and safety, grouped together under the heading of ‘Intelligent Drive’.

Notably, the redesigned front end and new headlamps are the key to the new look of the E-class Coupé and Cabriolet.

However, the proportion of the Coupé remains as classic as ever, with a long bonnet, elegantly stretched silhouette, low roof line and powerful trail end.

And, in order to align it harmoniously with the expressive appearance of the exterior, the interior of the E-Class Coupé (pictured below) and Cabriolet has also been redesigned by the German manufacturer.

The predominant features include the use of fine-quality materials, a two-part trim element that extends the full width of the dashboard and clear, a redesigned center console and a new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles, uncluttered surfaces, along with a state-of-the-art infotainment system which ensures full enjoyment of music, highly effective navigation solutions and access to the internet.

However, the powertrains on these two-door E-Class models remain the same.

Speaking about the E-Class Cabriolet (pictured above), the fully retractable windows are a characteristic feature, and the optional self-dependent AIRCAP system which reduces air turbulence in the interior and air-noise ensures the exceptional cabriolet comfort even with the roof open.

Also available as an option is the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system.
