The eco-friendly ECO superyacht uses GO2 particle to cut the carbon emissions

At one end we speak of high industrialization, but the other end brings to light the issues the world faces regarding carbon emissions, and the high carbon footprint of most machines, including yachts. We have earlier told you about the world's first zero carbon yacht and Supernova, a 60m solar hybrid megayacht from Sauter Carbon offset Designs, and the latest is Company 85, which has taken up the challenge to take a complete trip around the world, on the road to developing the ECOsuperyacht. With the capability bullet ahead at speeds of around 50 knots, this boat will be fitted with a special engine whose fuel will have GO2 particle added to it, for extra efficiency, but less than half the carbon emissions.

Mr. Alan Pridy, who happens to be a British sea adventurer, has been on the forefront of this unique mission to break the current world record of the 61-day global circumnavigation around the world, on a powerboat. For that, he intends to cover the same distance but within a period of 50 days, and is looking to develop a unique boat, that will travel at that quick a speed in the waters. The ECOsuperyacht is the answer to his dreams, which will help him and the crew members travel the entire earth’s circumference at speeds of up to 50 knots.

Coming to the core element of it all, the GO2 particle has been new addition to existing furl combination for the engine of the boat. It is a Cerium Dioxide nanoparticle, which helps in gaining higher efficiency of 14% from the existing capacity of fuel, and also increasing the combustion rate to generate more power. In other words, it helps in redistributing the oxygen needed for the fuel combustion process. In terms of emission levels, one would notice 69% reduction in unburned hydrocarbons within the exhaust system. This would perhaps be the new way, the other yacht makers use fuel in the future, especially those who make the gigantic luxury yachts out there.

Thanks Alan & Richard!
