Electrolux redefines its range of high-end ovens with the Inspiro Oven that automatically selects the right heating mode based on the contents of the oven, at the push of one button. Unlike a convectional oven Inspiro uses sensors to calculate the precise combination of energy consumption and time needed to bring the food to the correct temperature. Electrolux President and CEO Hans Stråberg rightly explains the intelligent feature by comparing it to the auto-focus feature on cameras. “For the oven and for the camera, it is all about pushing one button to ensure a professional result.” Electrolux President and CEO Hans StråbergElectrolux President and CEO Hans Stråberg. To cook a lamb joint, for example, select the category “roasting” via the touch control, then choose whether the joint should be rare, medium or well done. The oven indicates which level to put the tray on – in a cold oven. German top chef Christian Mittermeier says, “No other oven allows you to combine top, bottom, side, and grill for one dish without having to stop and reset the oven.”

And, if you feel ditched after those professional cookery classes then you can also operate Inspiro like a conventional oven by selecting the manual mode. Innovative..but it left me wondering if Electrolux will take the cake. Personally I would go with TMIO intelligent oven.
