Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 headed for March 2009 release
Bang & Olufsen are well known for their high-end home theaters and custom multi-room music systems. The Danish firm has now officially announced the BeoSound 5 digital music system, which looks to be one of the best digital audio jukeboxes available on the shelves. Designed to enrich the high-quality digital music experience at home, the BeoSound 5 integrates the navigation wheel into the digital screen. The aluminum wheel nd pointer placed on the side of the BeoSound 5 gives the users full control over their content and all on-screen actions. The music system makes use of the MOTS (More of the Same) intelligent playlist system that scans your library and finds similar tracks based on parameters, such as rhythm, syncopation, and vocal harmonies. Well, it would be really interesting to see the MOTS in action.

Other salient features include IR input, analog line-out, S/PDIF output, HDMI, DVI-I, DVI-D, YPbPr, S-Video, composite video, three USB ports, and Ethernet connectivity. With 500GB of memory, you will be able to store over 28,000 songs losslessly. The Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 system will make you poorer by $5,377 when it arrives in March 2009.
