Belt-driven CD player to pass off as a genius

Jaiyant Cavale / Sep 9 2008

Here is another way to throw your money around, and act like you just don't care. CEC has launched a belt-driven CD player that costs $7,100. The player combines great technology and snazzy looks but still is a rather zany way to spend your money. We say this because you normally wouldn't use CDs anymore to listen to music, and even if you did, any CD player would sound just as good because you can't really make out the difference.

If you were punch-drunk-loaded, you wouldn't care if the product were worth the money you are paying for it. What matters is that you paid for it. So, you can go ahead and tell your friends you bought the redundant product because it might be an antique soon, and worth much more than what it is, now. Pass on the belt-driven CD player by CEC as a future investment, and you will have all your friends and acquaintances gasping in amazement at the genius they think you are.
