BMW teams with Steinway & Sons to inspire music lovers
BMW has partnered with piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons to seduce music lovers and promote young talent with its 7 Series range featuring classic piano finish. BMW is presenting its limited-edition 7 Series Composition on November 11, 2010 at the Hamburg factory of Steinway & Sons. The car aesthetics reflect a piano-like black and white contrast theme. The special edition car can be ordered in either an ebony or ivory finish with a special three-layer clear coat comparable to that of piano lacquer. The other details include: a gold pinstripe and special 20-inch wheels, while the passenger compartment is decked out in merino leather lambswool carpets, Alcantara headliner, special embroidery, and, of course, piano black trim. The cars are built to customer specifications and based on the normal or long-wheelbase versions of the luxury saloon.
