Candy mogul David Klein brings the world’s most expensive jelly beans
Would you spend $500 on a jar of jelly beans? This is the price you’ll pay for the world’s most expensive jelly beans. Jelly Belly inventor David Klein, in collaboration with Leaf Brands, will launch the most exclusive line of jelly beans in the world, including the most expensive 24-karat gold leaf beans. The new line, David’s Signature "Beyond Gourmet" Jelly Beans, will make its debut at the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago (May 24–26). David’s new line of jelly beans will let customers experience the world’s finest and most exotic spices, herbs, roots, flowers, fruits and nuts. Leaf Brands CEO Ellia Kassoff cited…

The intent of the David’s Signature “Beyond Gourmet” line was to make the beans an exclusive, sensory experience; not just eating candy.
The 24-karat gold beans will come packaged in a beautiful crystal jar, which will be under the scrutiny of armed guards at the show. Those who are into sweets, but not specifically jelly beans, can check out the $1,000 Popsicle, $25,000 chocolate sundae and other most expensive desserts.
