Carolina Fontoura recycles bicycle chains into luxurious light fixtures

Recycling, the art of getting lost and useless items resurrected into something attractive and worthy, is catching pace. Mexican-Brazilian artist Carolina Fontoura is one such unique crafter, whose experimenting with old bicycle chains has resulted in mesmerizing and luxurious lamps and chandeliers for your lavish apartments. Recycled out of bicycle chains, the lamps and chandeliers by Carolina are on display at her first solo show, Connect. Inspired by Victorian chandeliers, these recycled chandeliers look elegant with a sense of desired delicacy with the items of home décor.
