All you have to do is to come up with a catchy title like Catey’s "SHOO, Jimmy Choo!” with your favorite lifestyle/designer brand.

You can send us your replies in email or can simply leave a comment on our site, or our Facebook page or send us a message on Twitter @bornrich. The giveaway contest will close on September 25th and we will announce the winner thereon.

1). Joe: Give us some insight into your book Shoo, Jimmy Choo!?

Catey: It’s a personal finance guide for young women (especially those of us who love to shop!). I tried to write it in a fun, easy-to-relate-to way (because some personal finance books are soooo boring and dense) that still offered tons of great info to help women budget, get out of debt, save more, plan for retirement and buy a home.

2). Noorindah: What’s the most positive thing you have heard about your book?

Catey: When People said Shoo, Jimmy Choo! was “one of the best of the new crop of personal finance books” (I was so thrilled because only 4 books were chosen!) and then the New York Times called the book’s advice “solid," I was so honored and floored. But honestly, the positive comments from women who have read the book are my favorite to read.

3). Tammy: “Shoo, Jimmy Choo!” is all about managing your finances. How do you think women differ from men in spending and managing their finances?

Catey: I think both men and women spend too much money, but we tend to spend on different things (I mean, my fiance still can’t understand the appeal of a beautiful pair of stilettos, and I definitely don’t get his obsession with gigantic flat screen TVs!).

4). Joel: Will your next book also be about finances? Any plans to venture into fiction?

Catey: I would love to venture into fiction eventually, but my next one will be about personal finance - I’m thinking about doing a book on how couples can manage their money together.

5). Jean: Your favorite authors and their titles? Also, what are you currently reading?

Catey: I’m currently reading Jonathan Franzen’s new book "Freedom" - he is a genius! My favorite author is Tolstoy (I think I’ve read "Anna Karenina" at least three times). In terms of personal finance authors, I love Manisha Thakor, who wrote “On My Own Two Feet.”

6). Nina: As the market for ebooks is set to grow, what’s your take on print and online media? Do you like to read your books in hard copy or you prefer it on reading devices. If yes, which reading device do you own?

Catey: I’m old fashioned - I still love hard copies of books (I own hundreds of them). But I totally get the appeal of the Kindle - it’s so lightweight that it’s easy to put into your purse and carry around - and I'm sure I'll get one soon enough.

7). Steve: Celebrated authors bypass publishing houses to sell ebooks via Amazon. How much it has helped to the young writers like you? What’s could be the next revolution in the writing world?

Catey: This could have limited the number of buyers for my book, but Amazon gave me direct access to them, so it didn't seem to hurt sales. The publishing houses are struggling a lot right now - I think they will take on fewer and fewer authors and focus on the more “blockbuster” authors. I also think self-publishing is going to get way bigger.

8). Vikas: What are your rituals for creative writing and your favorite ways to unwind and deal from the writer’s block?

Catey: Before I write, I almost always scan the news - everything from gossip to fashion to hard news - to try to get inspiration. Then I hole away in my little writing nook. It’s silent and has everything I need - my Mac (I am obsessed with it!), stacks of books, pens, paper and a printer. And probably shouldn’t admit to this, but there’s nothing like a glass of good white wine to deal with writer’s block :). When that doesn’t work, I usually just walk away from the project for a while.

9). Vikas: What are your other passions besides writing?

Catey: I love to travel, read and (of course!) shop, though I try my best not to do that too much.

10). Team: Your thoughts on Bornrich?

Catey: LOVE IT! When I was writing for the New York Daily News I would look at Bornrich almost every day for inspiration.

RapidFire Round:-

1). Your most expensive fashion buys?

Catey: Handbags and shoes - I adore them because they fit even when I gain weight!

2). Your favorite quote?

Catey: “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” - Seneca

3). Your favorite lifestyle brands?

Catey: Clothes: Marc Jacobs, J. Crew, Alice + Olivia, Rodarte, Aqua and Theory (for work clothes). Shoes: Jimmy Choo (of course!), Coach, J. Crew. Handbags: Balenciaga, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs. For inexpensive clothes and accessories, H&M and Zara are amazing! Makeup: Laura Mercier concealer, Nars blush and I just use random drugstore brands for almost everything else. And I love Target - it’s cheap and chic!

4). What are you carrying in your handbag right now?

Catey: Um, waayyy too much stuff. But I almost always have Laura Mercier concealer (it blends into skin so well!), gum, pens, book or magazine and my cell.

5). If you have to pen a title that rhymes perfectly with the designer’s name like Shoo, Jimmy Choo!, which one will it be:

a. Manolo Blahnik b. Gianni Versace c. Kate Spade d. Kenneth Cole e. Other?

Catey: I’d love to do Manolo Blahnik ... but it’s hard to rhyme that one!

So, finally we wish Catey “Best of Luck” for her future and big thanks for the giveaway of her book SHOO, Jimmy Choo!.
