CES 2008 - Westinghouse floors 56-inch LCD for $50K

Featured at the CES 2008 in Las Vegas, Westinghouse's QuadHD 47-inch and 56-inch monitors are by far among the most promising displays showcased at the event. The 47-inch model runs an astonishing 2560 x 1440 Quad HD (3.7 million pixels) while the 56-inch display beats the pack with its 3840 x 2160 Quad Full HD Resolution featuring approximately 8.3 million pixels! Of course no one expects such quality to come cheap and Westinghouse plan to retain the 56-inch display for $50,000 and the 47-inch model will go for $10,000. Since the monitors are scheduled to hit the showrooms only by April this year, you all have plenty of time to save up for the monsters.
