De Bethune is well known for its classical pocket watches, sporting guilloche dials and Roman numerals. The Swiss watchmaker even went on to show the world its eternal love for the pocket watches by incorporating one in an iPhone case. But, the brand is equally known for its luxurious wrist watches, including its unique platinum-cased De Bethune Dream Watch One priced at $123,600. The latest in the range of exceptional timepieces from the brand is this stunning and one-off version of its very popular DB25 specially created for the Only Watch auction 2011 to be held in Monaco in September.

This beautiful wristwatch is designed to recreate the stunning night sky effect with a polished-blue dial, which is concave in the middle and convex on the outer ring to enact the sight of a nocturnal sky. The watch is set in titanium and is studded with gold and diamonds to create the moonlight effect representing the 115 stars. The hand-polished titanium dial displays the hours and minutes at 6 o'clock on two sandblasted sterling silver discs, with Arabic numerals for the minutes and Romans for the hours. The case-back features mirror-polished movement. With this mesmerizing timepiece, De Bethune continues its tradition of creating unique timepieces.
