De Veer’s “Angel Tear” Diamond iPhones are for a Cause

We have earlier told you about many blinged-out iphone versions, but if you are still looking for more options then here’s another one for you from Devere’s, diamond jewelers of London. This stunning Art Deco-inspired Apple iPhone "Angel Tear" has been created by De Vere’s founder Philip De Vere in memory of his mother, who died of ovarian cancer. The unlocked 16GB black-backed 3G iPhones have 400 small brilliant cut diamonds set into the steel bezel surrounding the front screen. The majority of these diamonds are F color, VS clarity whites, apart from one corner, which has pink diamonds to highlight the cause, that gradually fade to whites as they extend along the edges of the iPhone. Though it looks more or less the same as the ones we have told you about earlier, De Vere’s is offering added advantages to its buyer with an option to remove the diamonds from the iPhone and set into a jewelery if the owner wishes so, at a later date. Also, you can get it customized according to the number of diamonds you want in your phone, which gives them a wide price spectrum ranging from £281.75 through to £2499.00 ($3,982) for 25 diamonds or 400 respectively. The Angel Tear diamond iPhones are being sold to raise money for the research and treatment of women’s cancers. The price shown for each design is the charity edition price and is for a limited time only.

Though we are not complaining if it’s for the cause, but the jeweler has designed 3 different versions of diamond iPhones in a similar fashion except for the pink diamonds in "Angel Tear." The rest of the two versions sell for a different price tag, as well like for supplying an unlocked Apple 16GB diamond iPhone 3G complete with a diamond inset bezel the minimum is $1,935 and, the maximum is $17,518, depending on the number of diamonds. The third one titled “Pure Ice” sells for prices same as "Angel Tear" but come with white diamonds. Someone has rightly said, “Sometimes less is more.”

Thanks, Philip!
