Elipson targets audiophiles with its new Music Center and the Sound Tree
French speaker manufacturer Elipson, after giving us the sexy Planet L speakers, has come up with the new Music Center. The Elipson Music Center enjoys an UFO-like design, and features ICEpower digital amplifier modules from Bang & Olufsen. The music center hooks up wirelessly with your PCs,iPod, iPhone and iPad through WELL (Wireless Link Elipson Lossless) technology. While an USB dongle is available as a standard feature, an iPhone/iPod/iPad dongle comes as an option.

Other features include Digital DAB/DAB+ and FM radio, CD player and USB input. Elipson presented its Music Center at the High End 2011 (May 19 to 22, 2011). Available this fall, the Elipson Music Center will sell for 1,500 (about $2,150) alone or for 2,000 coupled with a pair of Planet M speakers.
Other than the Music Center, Elipson also has the new Sound Tree, which was presented for the first time at Milanos Triennale during Design Week. Originally designed for convivial spaces, this amazing sound object comprises twelve spherical speaker-fruits suspended from the ceiling by creeper-cables. You can increase or decrease the number of speakers to suit any space. Design by Maurizio Galante, Tal Lancman & Jean-Yves Le Porcher for Elipson, the Sound Tree comes with 6 or 12 fruits with the trunk.
