Earlier, we have seen some luxurious coffins like air-conditioned coffins, MJ’s 14-karat gold plated custom casket or the Cocoon to lay to rest in style, made for uber-rich who want to make the funerals of their near and dear ones very special.

If you are amongst the one who never step out without putting on the best make-up, then here is some news for you. There is some unusual, rather a funny innovation in the name of luxury. Makeup brand Illamasqua declared new partnership with reputable family funeral directors "Leverton & Sons” to fashion looks for the afterlife. "At Levertons we have always applied make-up when requested by family and friends or when specified in someone's pre-arranged funeral," explains Andrew Leverton, director of Levertons & Sons. "We are now entering a new era in [which] pre-arranged funerals have become as standard as making a will, it's great for us to be able to offer this additional service.", he adds. So, if you want to look at your best, you can choose your make-up after death as Illamasqua's make up would deck you up in smokey eyes or blood red lips. Funeral makeup is not a new concept, it is a regular practice for open-casket affair generally applicable to a celebrity.
According to the make-up brand, the make-up artists are specially trained from Leverton & Son's embalmers for applying make-up to a dead body. The pre-booking of the makeup can be done as part of a pre-arranged funeral by calling Leverton & Sons” that is available only in London. The service starts at $ $720.
