A couple of months back, Xtraordinary Adventures, in partnership with RocketShip Tours, started taking reservations for the thrilling space ride aboard XCOR Aerospace’s Lynx suborbital spaceship for a cool $95,000. Here is an opportunity for the space enthusiasts and everyone else to buy their very own Lynx spaceship in scale model. For a limited time, XCOR is offering a numbered, limited edition of hand carved 1:24 scale Lynx display models. Only a few models have been left, as many of the Lynx models have reached the living rooms and offices of VIPs and investors. The scale models have been handcrafted from Philippine mahogany and positioned on an attractive base in a "nose up" angle.
Done in Lynx color scheme, each model shows a unique serial number stamped on the bottom of the base. The 1:24 scale model measures 15 inches in length, with a wingspan of 13 inches. This limited edition Lynx display model will set you back a mere $299.
