A sophisticated drinker knows the value of money he spends on getting himself a bottle of cognac, and would not mind splurging a few thousand dollars on it. Although, there are many well established brands serving fine cognacs for years, label of the best could be just given to some. One such brand is Grand Marnier, that is serving a true blend of liquor since 1880, and now this French brand is set to launch first expression for the American market. The brand has come up with a fine cognac called Quintessence.

The bottle is not an average bar room spirit as it is a bit of sage with at least 60 years in the family reserves. The taste of this elegant cognac is rich and strong. The first sip gives a bitter taste of orange notes and smoothly slips down the throat and ensures to tantalize the palette. The cognac is combined with twice-distilled citrus bigaradia essence and the peel of it is soaked in neat alcohol to create the first distillate.

The drink is elegantly bottled in a beautiful curvaceous bottle with the steer clear view of the liquor. The Quintessence is limited in numbers and only 2,000 bottles will be produced. This is scheduled to be introduced at the 2011 TFWA World Exhibition next month. The expensive cognac is priced at $700 per bottle. Quintessence cognac is the follow-up to Cent-Cinquantenaire, which debuted in 1977, and makes for a remarkable avowal.

Further, for an elegant drinker, the 'Most expensive wine' is a must read.
