Gucci celebrates 90th anniversary with limited edition Coupé timepiece
Italian fashion and leather goods label Gucci is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion, they are releasing the 1921 Collection this June. Christened after the year in which Guccio Gucci founded the Florentine House, the new collection features an exclusive range of men’s and women’s ready to wear and accessories. One of the highlights from the new range is the Gucci 1921 watch collection.
The new limited edition Gucci Coupé timepieces boast a retro-styled case, dial and strap, and a beautiful automatic movement.
Combining both the modern and classic elements, each watch in the collection is characterized by a unique leather case, which comes in a choice of black, dark brown, camel or white calfskin. The dial flaunts the Gucci diamond pattern, and both the strap and crown bear the “G” sign. The Gucci 1921 watches feature a Dubois-Depraz automatic movement and a rounded-square sun-brushed steel case.
The stylish face of the watch shows the hour and minutes with a small second hand at 9 o’clock and circular date counter at 3 o’clock. The Coupé timepiece reads "G.Gucci 1921" on the dial. Yours for $2,650 only.
